Biostatistics Research

Faculty and students in the Division of Biostatistics are active in many areas of methodological and collaborative research, and regularly publish in high-impact statistics, biostatistics, and medical journals. The division is home to a winner of the Mortimer Spiegelman Award—Brad Carlin—and five Fellows of the American Statistical Association: Brad CarlinPatricia GrambschJim HodgesJim Neaton, and Wei Pan, and Lynn Eberly.

Publications by Biostatistics faculty

The Division maintains strong links to the Masonic Cancer Center, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and The School of Statistics. In fact, the volume and scope of our collaborations are such that, on a per-faculty-member basis, the Division of Biostatistics is involved in more sponsored research than any other department or division at the University of Minnesota.
