This spring, the Executive MHA program will launch its second cohort at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Faculty will travel to Saudi Arabia for four days of teaching and orientation to the program. The new cohort is a mix of executives, physicians and healthcare professionals employed at KFMC.

The MHA program graduated its first Saudi cohort in 2014 with great success.

“Working with King Fahad Medical City and this wonderful cohort of students allows the School of Public Health and its faculty to build partnerships and influence the delivery of health care on an international basis,” says Tom Gilliam, administrative program director.  “It makes our domestic programs strong and more effective.”

The program allows students to earn a University of Minnesota MHA degree in 25 months. Course content is delivered primarily online and tailored to the particular needs of the Saudi’s medical system. Faculty will visit KFMC three times a year for classroom lecture exchanges.
