HPM associate professor Pinar Karaca-Mandic was recently elected as a research associate in the National Bureau of Economic Research’s (NBER) programs on health economics and health care. NBER is a private, non-profit, non-partisan research organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of how the economy works. Karaca-Mandic has served as a faculty research fellow at NBER since 2011.
