Rahmani elected vice president of AATM

Executive MHA student Ahmad Masoud Rahmani, MD, has been appointed to vice president of the Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine (AATM) in Asia.

The organization works to accelerate progress and common standards in blood transfusion services in member states in South Asia.

Rahmani has served as a national director of Afghanistan’s National Blood Safety and Transfusion Services where he organized blood drives at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul in collaboration with the University of Minnesota’s Medical School and School of Public Health.

Rahmani graduates from the Executive MHA Program in January 2015.
