We work across disciplines and with governmental partners, communities, and peer institutions to make real and lasting change — from coordinating testing and new treatments for infectious diseases across the world, identifying hazardous environmental pollutants, to combatting the damaging effects of structural racism across areas of public health research, we are a force for positive change for all communities and are shaping how public health research is practiced and implemented.
Our SPH researchers receive more NIH funding than any other school of public health at a public university and SPH has the highest research funding per faculty member at the University of Minnesota.
