This program prepares graduates for a wide variety of positions in national, state, and local public health agencies; nonprofit health agencies; international nongovernmental organizations; industry; and community health organizations.

What Do Graduates Do?

Public health nutrition graduates assess and monitor the health of communities and populations; develop, implement and evaluate nutrition policies, programs and interventions; and communicate with and educate the public.

Individuals who obtain the registered dietitian/nutritionist credential are also prepared to provide medical nutrition therapy in health care settings such as hospitals and clinics.
