The opportunities to travel on two global School of Public Health trips to India and Jamaica with fellow alumni and faculty have had a lasting impact for me personally and professionally. Those experiences have broadened my cultural competency and understanding of cultures of which I had little understanding in my work as a clinical research professional.

Personally, I have made life-long friends as a result of the trips and am truly grateful for that.
