The Minnesota Evidence–Based Practice Center was awarded a 5-year contract from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to continue producing scientific literature reviews for evidence reports. These reports are used for informing and developing policy, coverage decisions, quality measures, educational materials and tools, clinical practice guidelines, and research agendas. Report users have included the US Senate, National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, and Federal agencies such as the NIH, CDC, or NTSB. The center also conducts research on methodology of evidence synthesis. Associate Professor Mary Butler and Professor Timothy Wilt are co-directors.
