This course focuses on the relationships that the University of Minnesota has with the 11 Native nations of the state, what obligations we have to them, how we can build and enhance relationships with Native nations and more.
UMN Office of Equity & Diversity (OED) Certificate Program
The Equity and Diversity Certificate program is free for all current UMN students, staff, and faculty and helps participants develop tools necessary for advancing equity and diversity in all aspects of their personal and professional lives.
The mission of the Health Equity Work Group is to give greater visibility to health inequalities research at SPH and nationally; develop collaborations with faculty and community partners; and ensure SPH students are well trained to work in a diverse society.
Implicit Bias Training in Search and Selection Processes
SPH is committed to increasing diversity among its staff, faculty, and students in admissions, promotions, scholarship decisions, and other selection processes. Participants of this OED workshop will learn promising practices and resources for addressing implicit bias in the context of search and selection processes.
