We are grateful for alumni like Dr. Julia Joseph-DiCaprio, MPH ’96, who use their public health training to help make health a human right. Joseph-DiCaprio, UCare Senior Vice President & Chief Medical Officer, was honored with the 2021 SPH Alumni Award of Merit for her work improving health systems and quality of care for patients. She has dedicated her career to integrating public health into systems of care, resolving health and racial disparities, and bringing health plans and communities together for patient-centered change.
