We are grateful for Joseph Akambase, MPH student in epidemiology, and the many donors who support scholarships for students like Joseph. A practicing physician in Ghana, Joseph came to the U of M to further his public health education and make a bigger impact on the health of people and communities around the world. SPH alumni and friends committed more than $210,000 to the SPH Alumni Scholarship in the last ten years. This scholarship fund currently benefits Joseph and some of his peers, creating opportunities for future public health leaders like Joseph.
