Registration
Participation
Students enrolled in School of Public Health BA, MPH, MHA, MS, PhD or certificate programs are eligible to participate in the May 2025 Commencement ceremony if on track to complete course credit requirements by August 31, 2025. Students must complete the necessary steps to apply for graduation whether or not they plan to participate in SPH Commencement.
Exceptions may be granted on an individual basis per review by the SPH Registrar. To seek an exception, contact sphregistrar@umn.edu no later than April 1, 2025.
Registration
Registration for SPH Commencement is required to participate in the ceremony and have your name printed in the SPH Commencement program. This is a separate process from applying to graduate. Registration will open in February 2025.
