Student Timeline

Spring semester and summer semester Master of Public Health (MPH) registration:

In the spring semester of your undergraduate program senior year, you will be eligible to register for summer summer courses in your MPH program including your applied practice experience. Students should reach out to the MPH 4+1 faculty advisor, Professor Betsy Wattenberg (watte004@umn.edu) at this time.

Note: If you do not plan on registering for summer courses please contact Katie Keyser (loas0001@umn.edu) to defer your program start to fall semester.

Fall registration for your MPH Degree:

Students should reach out to faculty directly to request permission numbers for the course they would like to take their fall semester. This will allow you to hold a spot in those courses until you are able to register.

Once your undergraduate degree is officially conferred by the University, please email sph-ask@umn.edu to notify them of the degree conferral. At this time their office will remove the hold code from your fall record and you will be able to register.
