Advances in treatments have dramatically improved long-term survival after childhood cancer to >85% in the US. However, childhood cancer survivors are at increased risk for experiencing severe and life- threatening health conditions as they age as a consequence of cancer therapy. Dr. Cindy Im will discuss potential opportunities to facilitate precision survivorship, leveraging large epidemiological datasets, statistical/machine learning-based prediction modeling, and genetics to improve late effects clinical risk stratification.
