The Masters of Social Work MSW/MPH Dual Degree prepares students to work at the intersection of community health and social care. Students learn how to integrate a knowledge of population health issues and policy and programmatic intervention while focusing on the biopsychosocial and sociopolitical contexts affecting health and well-being. MSW/MPH students are uniquely equipped to promote health equity at the micro, mezzo, and macro level. Students are able to select one of two MPH programs at the School of Public Health – either Maternal and Child Health OR Community Health Promotion.
