Extensive Career Support

The MHA program provides support to students throughout the application process. They participate in communications skills seminars, resumé development, videotaped mock interviews, mentoring programs, professional conferences, networking with alumni, skill assessment and development, and individual career counseling.

Students begin fellowship application activities when they enroll for their first semester of study. During the fall semester of the first year, students attend a communications skills seminar, have individual resumé critiques, are matched with an alumni mentor, travel to professional conferences, and attend social functions with healthcare leaders.

The Minnesota difference does not end after students complete their degree. The program facilitates alumni-to-alumni connections, continued engagement and educational opportunities from faculty researching at the top of their disciplines, and alumni-student mentorship to foster the next generation of leaders.
