A little over a year ago, Russia invaded Ukraine, resulting in an exodus of over six million Ukraine refugees, many of whom had pets.

This presentation will provide a first hand look at efforts to provide veterinary support to pets of those refugees, and an overview of the challenges of bringing the first mobile veterinary clinic into Ukraine to provide care to both injured and stray pets.

Dr. Jon Geller, a student in the Executive MPH in Public Health Practice will join us to share his unique experiences in public health.
