PhD student Madison Anderson received a Sequoyah Fellowship at the 2021 American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) National Conference in Phoenix, AZ. Sequoyah Fellows are recognized for their commitment to the AISES mission, STEM, and the American Indian community. Fellows honor AISES by engaging in leadership, mentorship, and other acts of service supporting students and professionals in AISES. Anderson is an Anishinaabikwe (an Anishinaabe woman) from the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.
