Silvia Balbo, Assistant Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, was featured in the September 28 issue of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN). In the article, “The Exposome Turns 10,” Balbo discusses the current state of exposome research. Balbo was the organizer of a symposium sponsored by the Division of Chemical Toxicology at the 2015 American Chemical Society national meeting in Boston. During the symposium, researchers discussed advances in exposome research using matabolomics and “adductomics” approaches.
