Aida Miles, director of the coordinated master’s program in Public Health Nutrition, recently became speaker-select for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ House of Delegates. In this position Miles will lead the academy’s 100+ delegates in deliberations that affect the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession.
In addition, Miles will be part of the academy’s board of directors, a 18-member group of leaders that govern the organization, which has a membership of over 75,000 nutrition and dietetics practitioners in the U.S. and abroad.
Miles’ three-year term starts on June 1, 2014.
