In order to facilitate high-quality research on rural population health and aging, INRPHA provides resources to guide researchers toward relevant data.

Contextual Data Library

This is a contextual data library containing information about data source, unit of analyses, geographic coverage, years available, and variable measurement on demographic, economic, social, built environment, health care, natural environment, and policy contexts in the U.S.

Survey Data Library

This is a survey data library containing dataset descriptions, sampling frame, definition of rurality and a listing of health and well-being measures contained within 15 surveys with utility for rural population health and aging research.
